These terms cover your use of AppReleaseKit. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
The service
AppReleaseKit is a browser-based editor for composing App Store and Play Store screenshots and exporting them at the sizes those stores require. We add and change features over time.
Your account
You need a working email address to sign in. Keep access to that inbox secure, because anyone who can read it can request a sign-in code. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
Your designs stay yours
You keep all rights to the screenshots, text, images, and brand assets you create or upload. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your work, to show it back to you, and to process it so you can export it. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. If you choose to publish a design as a shared template, you are asking us to make that design available to other users, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Content you bring in
You are responsible for having the right to use everything you put into a design. That includes screenshots of your own app, logos, fonts, and photos. Stock images searched through the app come from Unsplash and Pixabay and are subject to their licenses. Importing a brand from a website does not give you rights to that brand.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- Infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Create material that is illegal, harassing, or sexually exploitative.
- Impersonate a person or company, or produce fake store listings meant to deceive.
- Break, overload, or probe the service, or work around limits and access controls.
- Scrape or bulk-download content that is not yours.
Availability
The service is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we may change, pause, or discontinue parts of it. We aim to give notice before a change that would lose your work, and export tools are always available so you can keep your own copies.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your designs and profile immediately. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that puts the service or its users at risk. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you first.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. In some places you have rights that cannot be limited by contract. Nothing here takes those away.
Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and email account holders before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
